Since its final results were released, total AUM has risen 4% to £3bn.

In its AGM, the wealth manager said it expects the transfer to SEI to complete by the beginning of May 2017.

In an interview earlier this month with Portfolio Adviser the firm’s wealth management head Roderick Buchanan said the partnership with SEI was an important stepping stone in meeting “the evolving needs of its client base” and prepping the group for further growth.

Outsourcing the operational part of its business to SEI gives the group leverage to be able to “look at the best additions and “accelerate its growth of assets,” Buchanan remarked on Thursday.

And WH Ireland benefits from “making use of bells and whistles that a tech giant like SEI are actually able to assist with,” he added.

“When I look at all the indicators, it’s been a hugely busy period for the group and a lot of the foundation stones we laid are beginning to bear fruit,” Buchanan said.

He added: “I look forward to the next 12 months with great confidence.”
