Waverton Investment Management has appointed Helen O’Loughlin (pictured) as business development consultant. She joins from Momentum Global Investment Management where she was a senior business development consultant.
O’Loughlin has worked with financial advisers for over 10 years, with previous roles at Premier Miton, Friends Life and Just Retirement.
She will report to Mark Barrington, director and head of intermediary sales, and focus on supporting existing relationships, promoting Waverton’s proposition and contributing towards increasing the overall AUM.
Barrington said: “Over the last year, our Adviser Solutions channel has grown by almost 75%, and this new role was created following this huge increase in demand, but also in response to changing habits of advisers with many happy to work more online.
“We are still working face-to-face but, in this role, Helen will be perfectly placed to help more advisers and will increase our regional coverage.
“Helen will be working especially closely with Andy Phelan and Derek McLay, BDM for the North of England and Scotland & Northern Ireland respectively.”
O’Loughlin added: “I’m delighted to be joining Waverton at a very exciting time as it continues to grow and I look forward to working with a very experienced team, supporting them and promoting a sound proposition with a differentiated approach.”
