In its interim management statement the firm said it recorded a 28% rise in in discretionary and advisory assets.

Assets stood at £1.37bn on 30 June, compared to £1.07bn on the same day last year. In the three months to 30 June assets increased 3% from £1.33bn recorded on 21 March.
 
The group’s net revenue increased 12.2% to £3.6m, compared to £3.2m in the same quarter last year. This was mainly down to the 20% increase in net fees across the firm’s activities.  
 
Going into the second half of the year, the firm said it remains in a strong financial position with more than £10m of net cash on its balance sheet. 
 
In the stock exchange announcement the firm said, “Although trading conditions remain uncertain, the board believes that its strategy for asset and revenue growth will continue to deliver positive results over the medium term.”
 
It added that it was going to continue pursuing its growth plans organically and through acquisitions.
