Vontobel has expanded its fixed income range with an investment grade credit strategy.

With a management fee of 0.5%, the new strategy focuses on high-quality global credit, building on Vontobel’s established ‘Credit Opportunities’ approach by integrating flexibility and active management.

The fund invests globally in investment-grade issuers, targeting relative value opportunities across senior and subordinated debt.

While the strategy focuses on investment-grade issuers, managers may also invest in selected subordinated instruments rated below investment grade.

Kai Hirschlein, portfolio manager, said: “With this strategy, we are extending a proven approach into the investment-grade space, offering clients a more conservative way to access global credit markets by capturing relative value opportunities while maintaining rigorous risk discipline”.
