Varma, who will also deal with institutional clients, joins from Fitzwilliam Asset Management, where he was sales director covering private banks, family offices, wealth managers and intermediaries in the UK and Europe.
The appointment marks the next step in Vam Funds’ ambitions for the UK and European markets. The company received FSA registration for all twelve of its funds in 2010.
