He will join the eight-strong London investment team this month from Rothschild Wealth Management and report to chief executive Sebastian Lyon and Francis Brooke.
Yeowart has eight years’ industry experience and has previously held roles at Brewin Dolphin, Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander and Williams de Bröe.
“We look forward to welcoming Tom, whose investment experience will enable him to successfully manage our Spectrum Fund,” Lyon said.
“Tom’s particular skills in fund research will play an important role in developing this leg of Troy’s business,” he added.
The Spectrum Fund has £85m under management. It aims to produce long-term capital growth through investing predominantly in overseas collective investment schemes including OEIC’s and investment trusts as well as bonds, equities, cash and precious metals.
