The new office houses 15 staff including six wealth advisers. Towry had previously been providing financial planning and investment services in the Cardiff area under the Bluefin brand, which it acquired last September.
Julie Lord has been appointed a senior client partner operating from the Cardiff office. Lord is a past president of the Institute of Financial Planning.
The Cardiff office opening, coupled with another new office in Knutsford means Towry now has 21 offices across the United Kingdom managing £6bn of client assets.
“We are thrilled to have expanded our national reach into Wales as we continue our strategic growth in the wealth advice industry,” said Andy Cowan, Towry’s head of wealth advice. “We are also pleased to announce Julie Lord’s appointment as senior client partner, he added.
“Clients in Cardiff and the surrounding area are now able to benefit from the broad range of financial planning and wealth management services that Towry offers,” Lord said.
