Titan Wealth has hired Sanlam Investment UK’s head of fixed income Peter Doherty (pictured, right), who brings with him the £145m Sanlam Hybrid Capital Bond fund.
As part of the move, Tideway UCITS Funds ICAV has appointed Titan Investment Solutions as investment manager of the strategy, which has been renamed the Titan Hybrid Capital Bond fund.
Doherty becomes head of fixed income at Titan Asset Management, after four years at Sanlam.

Doherty will run the fund alongside investment associate Chris Turdean, (pictured, left) who also joins from Sanlam.

The fund invests in high-quality global issuers lower down in the capital structure, in a bid to achieve enhanced yield.
Since inception in 2016, the strategy has returned 24.3% , and 11.7% over the last year.
