Time Investments has appointed Victoria Barber to become its head of strategic partnerships.

Barber joins from LGT Vestra, where she was business development director focused on UK and European distribution. She previously spent four years with Octopus Investments, where she built relationships with financial advice networks, wealth managers, and professional bodies.

At Time Investments, Barber will be responsible for establishing distribution channels for the asset manager.

Time Investments managing director Nigel Ashfield said Barber’s background would be helpful for building relationships with wealth management partners. The boutique asset manager offers income-generating real asset funds across real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy and lending.

Barber said the asset manager had a strong reputation among the adviser community. She said funds that provide a degree of certainty when it comes to income generation are more relevant than ever.

This month, Time Investments launched a hybrid property fund that combines directly-held properties with real estate securities, primarily listed in the UK.
