Tilney Smith & Williamson has boosted its investment management team in London with a hire from Kleinwort Hambros.
Andrew Lewin, who has 14 years’ experience in the wealth management industry, has joined the firm as an investment director.
At Kleinwort Hambros he was a director, responsible for providing wealth management services to UK and international families, trusts and charities.
Before that, he was an associate director at Royal Bank of Canada Wealth Management and a private banker at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management.
Tilney Smith & Williamson director Holly Merriman said: “Andrew brings a considerable amount of valuable experience and expertise from working at a number of leading financial services firms which I know will be of considerable benefit to our business and clients. I am looking forward to working closely with him as we continue to expand the number of clients we provide investment management services to.”
Tilney Smith & Williamson has made several hires across its UK businesses in recent months. In September it appointed Will Matthewman from Charles Stanley as an investment manager in its Exeter office. It also announced hires in the South East, Northern Ireland and London, and in July it set up a dedicated investment team in Newcastle.
