Previously he was head of Tilney for intermediaries along with head of the Birmingham office.
Robinson will now operate from the firm’s Mayfair office, reporting in to head of investment management in England Alan Edwards.
His new role makes him responsible for the management and strategic operation of the Tilney’s circa 40 London-based investment managers.
He initially joined Tilney in 1999 on work experience placement, and over seventeen years has covered a number of roles within the company.
The group has also appointed Adam Parker to the role of head of midlands investment management. A chartered financial analyst, Parker has been a director of Tilney since 2008 and has worked closely alongside Robinson over this time. He will continue to work from the group’s Birmingham office and will also report to Edwards.
