Tilney Bestinvest has restructured the management of its Scottish operation and further strengthened its offering with the hire of Harry Morgan.

Morgan who joins from Anderson Strathern Asset Management where he was CIO will takes up the role of director, key clients Scotland, from 1 December, 2015.

This is the second move in as many years for Morgan, having only joined Anderson Strathern in August 2014, from a role as head of UK private investment management at Thomas Miller Investments.

He will report to Paul Frame who has been made managing director for the whole of Tilney’s Scottish business, previously he was MD of the Glasgow office.

Frame said:With 55 people in Edinburgh and Glasgow responsible for over £1.5 billion of assets, we already have a significant presence in Scotland and have been investing in the business with seven new hires since summer last year.

“We are deeply committed to Scotland and see excellent opportunities to support private clients, financial advisers, charities and the legal community where we are proud to have recently been appointed a strategic partner of the Law Society of Scotland.”
