Square Mile Investment Consulting and Research has nabbed a former veteran of Allianz Group for the new senior role of chief financial and operating officer.
Martyn Cuff (pictured) spent 14 years working for Allianz Group, including six years within Allianz Global Investors, where he held senior international roles such as chief operations officer for Luxembourg and Ireland, head of operations for UK and head of distribution operations for Emea.
At Square Mile, he will be responsible for the financial management of the business. He will work alongside operations director David Pickles, which the research house said reflected the evolving governance and operational requirements of the business as it grows.
Before Allianz, Cuff worked in wealth management at Barclays Bank Trust Company, as a management consultant at Ernst & Young, and as a management consultant and co-founder of Consulting Services to Investment Managers (CSTIM).
