Skagen fills senior UK roles with Premier Miton and Kempen hires

They are tasked with developing its institutional and wholesale business

Nordic fund management boutique Skagen has recruited Abigail Sheridan-Toombs and Tom Hoyer Millar to its UK team.

Hoyer Millar joins as director, wholesale team with responsibility for the development of the group’s products in the UK. He previously worked at Premier Miton Investors where he oversaw discretionary sales. Before that he was business development director at Legg Mason covering UK wholesale clients.

He is joined by Sheridan-Toombs who moves to Skagen as director, institutional sales from Kempen Capital Management. She was previously a business development consultant at Redington.

Skagen was acquired by Norway-based long-term savings and pension provider Storebrand Group in 2017. It continues to operate as a separate company and independent fund manager.
