At the time of the integration announced in April this year, Wilson, sales and marketing director at Old Mutual Asset Managers, was the interim head of marketing. However, Marcus Bolitho was then subsequently recruited from Bank of New York Mellon to take on this same role for Skandia Investment Group, and thus for the combined business, later this summer.

Wilson is understood to be leaving the group “to pursue other opportunities”.

He joined OMAM as head of marketing in 2004 and was promoted to his current position in 2008.This was his second stint at Old Mutual as prior to his hire in 2004 he was head of marketing at Govett Investments, and prior to this he spent more than a decade in various marketing roles in Old Mutual’s UK and international investment businesses.
