Delic has been an assistant fund manager at the Liverpool-based multi-asset investment house since 2011.

Prior to that, he spent two years as an investment analyst at Royal Liver Asset Managers.

Delic’s research focus is on overseas equities. He will work as part of the firm’s five-strong multi-asset team led by chief investment officer, Peter Elston, and including UK equity specialist, Mark Wright, alternatives specialist, Richard Parfect, and fixed income specialist, Alan Borrows.

He will also co-manage the CF Seneca Diversified Growth fund, alongside Wright.

David Thomas, chief executive, Seneca Investment Managers, said: “Over the last two years Tom has focused our overseas equities portfolios on those third-party value driven equity managers we think most highly of. The results have been excellent and he thoroughly deserves this promotion.”

Delic added: “I have a strong belief in the philosophy and principles of value investing, believing the work we carry out at Seneca will help clients manage and grow their capital over the long term.”
