Parisien had been head of emerging market corporate debt research and strategy at Deutsche for nearly four years. He is reporting to James Barrineau, Schroders’ co-head of emerging market debt relative return.

Before moving to Deutsche, Parsien worked for Santander Investment Securities as executive director and head of Latin American fixed income research for two years and head of Latin American research, also for two years.

Parisen was earlier at Standard New York Securities in Miami for five years.

The hire ties in with Schroder’s push into fixed income. “Denis’ impressive experience in emerging market credit research will be very valuable to us as we continue to expand our presence in the global fixed income market,” Barrineau said.
