Ex-Schroders sales head signed up by Seneca IM

Former head of IFA sales at Schroders Steve Jackson has joined Seneca Investment Managers.

He joins in the newly created role of head of retail, focusing on the distribution of Seneca’s fund range.

Jackson spent eight years at Schroders before departing the firm last year to pursue other opportunities. Prior to that spell he held various potions at M&G Investments between 1992 and 2006.

The hire of Jackson coincides with a planned rebranding, set to launch in the coming weeks. The company is retaining the same name however.

Seneca Investment Managers was known as Miton Capital Partners until a change in April 2014, and before that Midas Capital Partners.

Based in Liverpool, the firm has assets under management of over £400m across two OEICs, an investment trust and a number of segregated clients.
