Schroders Personal Wealth (SPW) has appointed Paul Greenwood to the newly-created role of head of transition, which will oversee change initiatives within the company.

The role brings to an end Greenwood’s 20 year association with Barclays, where he was most recently its transformation leader.

Greenwood also served as a managing director and programme director, with positions across the UK, Africa, Asia, and the US. Greenwood will work under chief technology officer Graham Bastin.

“This is a great hire for SPW and we are delighted to be welcoming someone of Paul’s calibre to the business,” Bastin said.

“We are looking to make some exciting changes in technology and Paul will be fundamental in leading these. His experience in transformation change will be  invaluable as we as we continue on our growth journey.”
