The duo’s transition to Tellworth Investments is expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2017 and will be the BennBridge’s first UK boutique firm.

Greg Thomas, COO at BennBridge, said: “Having established the BennBridge business in London at the end of last year, we have since met with a large number of potential investment partners.

“Paul and John stood out in terms of their pedigree, extensive experience, robust investment process and excellent long term track record.”

The deal now needs FCA authorisation to go ahead.

BennBridge is an extension of the Australian-based Bennelong Funds Management which has almost AUD$8bn in funds under management and has eight boutique funds management partners.
