Reporting to the current head of global income in the multi-asset team, Aymeric Forest, Paine will manage a suite of Schroders’ global income funds within its £64bn multi-asset business.
“We have seen continued demand from investors for sustainable income, delivered by diversifying across different asset classes.
“As a result, we are strengthening our capabilities further by continuing to invest in senior talent,” explained Forest.
During his decade-long career at Henderson, Paine progressed from a quantitative analyst on the economics and strategy team in 2000 to director in the asset allocation team by 2007 and director of research in the multi-asset group from 2012.
Prior to Henderson, he worked as a quantitative analyst at NPI Asset Management.
