Clark, who has 17 years’ experience in the wealth management sector, joins Jupiter as head of private clients and charities.
Prior to a two-year stint at Schroders Clark worked for 15 years at Merrill Lynch, latterly as managing director, head of discretionary EMEA at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management.
Jupiter said his role will be to build on the strong growth already achieved by its private client division, with the 24-strong private client team doubling AUM to some £1.8bn during the past four years.
Maarten Slendebroek, the new distribution and strategy director at Jupiter who joined earlier this month from BlackRock, said: “The wealth management sector is benefiting from long term structural growth and Jupiter has already made significant strides to increase its share of the market. We are delighted that Andrew will be joining us as we seek to take this growth to the next level.”
