New-joiners Matthew Joyce and Jingjing Cui will come in as senior analysts for the 90-strong multi-asset investment and portfolio solutions team.

Joyce has over nine years of hedge fund/boutique asset management experience split between Occam Asset Management (which was acquired by Liontrust in October 2011) and Polar Capital.

Meanwhile, Cui moves from JPMorgan Asset Management where she was vice president, senior quantitative research analyst responsible for quantitative modelling of fixed income and currency portfolios. She has five years of specialist research expertise, Schroders added.

Following Spinks’ departure last month Remi Ajewole and Martin Blank were appointed co-managers of the Schroder Diversified Growth and Diversified Completion funds.

Both Ajewole and Blank had held a number of analyst and portfolio management roles and joined Schroders in 2006 and 2001 respectively.
Last year the firm hired Aymeric Forest, Matthias Scheiber and Rob Hall to boost the manager count in the multi-asset team.
