Schroder Property has hired two property analysts for its global property securities team.

Both are newly-created roles and follows the recent move to bring the investment management of the Global Property Securities funds in-house in July.

Previously a real estate analyst covering continental Europe at Deutsche Bank Asset Management, Jon Consolo will be based in the firm’s London office. In his new role, he will cover the European markets as a property analyst.

Ryan Bennett joins the New York office of the company. He previously covered North American markets and worked at Zelman & Associates, Barclays and Lehman Brothers.

“Having taken the strategic decision to bring the fund management of our property securities funds in-house, we now have the appropriate platform in place to provide investors with strong returns in this growing sector,” client portfolio manager Andrew Robbens said.
