Verbatim offers an end-to-end investment process, enabling advisers to identify their client’s risk appetite and investment objectives.

According to Neil Stevens, managing director of the firm, there are currently over 1,700 firms using the investment process.

Sandringham was launched in November last year by SimplyBiz founder Ken Davy, and SimplyBiz invested around £2m in the venture.

Verbatim also offers collective investments through a series of six Portfolio Funds, managed by high profile fund managers including Bill McQuaker of Henderson, Johanna Kyrklund of Schroders and Ignis’ Simon Mungall.

Neil Stevens, managing director of Verbatim Asset Management, said: “Since Verbatim was launched the FSA have consistently focused on the importance of establishing a client’s willingness and ability to take risk, which Verbatim incorporated as a core foundation of the investment process over three years ago. We then build the voice of the client at the heart of our solutions so the investment mandate describes the clients’ objectives and the fund manager is working for the adviser.”

Verbatim Discretionary

Last week the firm announced it had 50 adviser firms signed up to its Discretionary Service which was launched in May 2012, more than triple the 15 it had at the end of November last year.

The service offers 24 model portfolios, based on risk and return objectives which are managed on a continuous basis. Managers include Rayner Spencer Mills, James Hambro and Smith & Williamson.
