Arthur Grigoryants joins RWC Partners as head of investment strategy and brings 22 years of experience in finance, including roles in central banking, investment consulting and asset management.
He spent 12 years with Stonehage Fleming as head of investments and most recently as a joint chief investment officer. Prior to the family office, he spent three years at Mercer as a consultant.
Stonehage Fleming said Grigoryants’ responsibilities will be assumed by the investment committee, which is led by head of investments Graham Wainer. The company will not be hiring a replacement.
Dan Mannix, chief executive at RWC, said in a rapidly changing investment environment it was “critically important” to invest in infrastructure in order to retain focused on clients and supporting their needs.
He added: “RWC is seeing significant opportunity as investors increasingly allocate their active management mandates to specialist investment organisations.
“We have known Arthur for many years and his background as a consultant and an investment manager make him well placed to understand the challenges our clients are facing.”
