RWC portfolio manager Edward Rumble has left the firm less than two years after joining as part of its purchase of Pensato Capital.

Rumble (pictured) was part of the seven-strong investment team at Pensato, led by former Fidelity European equity manager Graham Clapp, that RWC bought in July 2017. The team became part of RWC in September 2017.

At RWC he was a partner and named manager on the RWC European Equity fund, the RWC Continental European Equity fund, alongside Clapp, and the RWC Pensato Europa Absolute Return fund.

An RWC spokesperson confirmed Rumble had left the firm but declined to comment further.

His Linkedin profile names him as a founding partner and portfolio manager at Pensato Capital from 2007 until 2017. Before joining Pensato, he worked as a portfolio manager at Ameriprise Financial Services on the European long short equity market neutral fund. He also worked at Fidelity from 1995 until 1999.

Rumble’s Linkedin profile also lists him as a non-executive director at UK property technology company One Dome.
