T. Rowe Price has poached two distribution staff from Neptune Investment Management.

Stephen McShane and Lee Ryan will expand the asset manager’s sales and client service efforts with advisers across the UK.

In the newly created roles, they will report to Matt Jenkins, head of UK advisory relationship management.

A third recruit is Edward Tennant, who has joined from Lombard Odier, and will be responsible for building relationships with London discretionary accounts.

Tennant will report to Simon King, head of UK discretionary relationship management.

T. Rowe Price has substantially bolstered its UK intermediary team over the past year, with King and Jenkins joining the group in 2016 from Woodford Investment Management and Neptune Investment Management respectively.

“The strengthening of our UK team over the past year highlights T. Rowe Price’s ambitions in this key market,” said John Yule, head of relationship management, UK & Ireland.

“We have a long-term commitment to broadening our reach and increasing awareness of our renowned research-based capabilities in the advisory and discretionary markets.
