Three new investment managers join the wealth manager in London, Manchester and Liverpool, while an equity research analyst has been added to the team in London and a stockbroker in Bristol.

Johnny Arthur is joining the firm in Manchester from Hanson Asset Management, where he was head of investment management for two years. In Liverpool David McNiven is joining from Quilter Cheviot after four years as investment director.

The two investment managers will be working with private clients in the region and offering a DFM service to SJP partners.

Meanwhile in London, Rowan Dartington is adding investment manager Gregg McAlister from RBC Wealth Management and equity research analyst Andrew Wace. Wace joins from Axa Investment Managers, where he covered the retail, tobacco, aerospace & defence and engineering sectors.

The firm’s north and south expansion is complemented by the addition of stockbroker Edmund Mills, who is joining the Bristol office from Beaufort Securities.

“The North and Scotland are areas with great growth potential and we will continue to increase our footprint there with more people to join us in Newcastle, Leeds and Edinburgh this year”, said executive chairman Graham Coxell. “In Johnny, David, Gregg, Andrew and Edmund we have found five great people who we are confident will be the right cultural fit and will contribute the energy and positivity that has come to define Rowan Dartington as we continue to grow around the UK,” he added.
