James Lewis joins the team of ten in London from HSBC Discretionary Wealth Management where he was a client director responsible for managing assets of circa £150m. He has 18 years’ experience managing multi-asset portfolios for private clients and their associated accounts. His earlier roles include spells at Newton Investment Management and NatWest Stockbrokers.

Dominic Hughes is joining the firms’s Manchester team from Quilter Cheviot where he has worked as an investment director since 2000. He brings with him 16 years’ experience managing wealth in the north west of England. He will be tasked with developing Rowan Dartington’s presence in the region and managing relationships with clients, financial advisers and the St. James’s Place Partnership.

Both the hires are Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) accredited.

“I’m delighted that our fast growth means that we now need and can deploy significant efforts and resources towards increasing our footprint throughout the UK,” said executive chairman Graham Coxell. “Our strategy has always been to employ highly experienced investment managers with a great knowledge and understanding of the region they operate in. James and Dominic not only fit the bill perfectly in terms of their relevant experience and capability, they also represent an excellent cultural match with our business of ensuring that our partners, clients and employees feel liked and valued as individuals,” he added.
