Blaxland, who joined the group on 1 September from JP Morgan where he was a managing director and head of European research will report to Mark Kary, head of the firm’s UK Wealth Management business.
According to Rothschild, Blaxland has worked in the institutional equity sales, research and investment management sector for more than twenty five years, with stints not only at JP Morgan but also, Rubicon Investment Management, Polar Capital and Morgan Stanley.
“As Rothschild’s wealth management business continues to grow, we are continuing to invest to deepen and strengthen our investment proposition,” Kary said.
