Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has promoted head of wholesale Phil Reid (pictured) to the newly-created head of sales role.

In the role, he will oversee wholesale and institutional sales for the asset manager.

Reid joined the firm in 2016 after a decade at HSBC Global Asset Management.

RLAM chief client officer Ed Venner said: “We are ambitious to build on our successes, looking at continued growth in both wholesale and institutional channels, in the UK and internationally.

“We believe our value proposition to clients is compelling and Phil’s deep commitment to clients, together with his industry expertise and strategic vision, will play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth in the years ahead.”
