Mann is currently a senior fund manager and has been with the firm since 2005. He takes over the role from Helene Williamson who will start a new job with First State Investments in September after 15 years at F&C.

He is the alternate manager on the F&C Emerging Market Bond Fund, a Luxemburg Sicav. Before joining F&C, he worked in emerging market debt fund manager roles at Standard Bank and Invesco and has nearly 20 years investment experience.

Jonathan Mann said: “F&C has a long history in Emerging Market Debt, spanning over 140‐years, and we look forward to growing our presence further. We have recently made two new important hires to the team, which we will announce in due course and we will look to grow the team further. This is a strong sign of F&C’s commitment to this asset class.”
