The wealth and investment division has lost Mark Esner, who was based in the Liverpool office, and Glasgow-based David Peterson and David Ridland. David Peterson, an associate director, has left the Edinburgh office.

Regional office managers have also had their reach expanded, with Alan Edwards heading up the Liverpool office in addition to the Manchester office, and Martin Cuthbert managing taking on responsibility for the Newcastle office as well as the Leeds office.

The management restructure comes following the appointment of Calum Brewster as managing director of Scotland and Ireland, a position previously held by Mark Little.

Little is still at the bank and focuses on key clients.

The group as a whole reported first quarter losses of 25% as a result of its restructuring programme aimed at making it the ‘go-to bank’.
