Redwheel has promoted Benjamin Hall to co-manager on the Global Horizon Equity team and hired Gillian Elcock as investment director.
Hall joined Redwheel, which until this year’s rebrand was known as RWC, in 2019 as a global analyst. He had previously been an emerging markets small cap portfolio manager at Mondrian Investment Partners.
Elcock will be responsible for portfolio themes, risk analysis and client communications in her newly-created role. She founded research business Denny Ellison and previously led industrials research at Insight Investment. She is also a board member of the CFA Society of the UK.
Louise Keeling (pictured), head of Redwheel Global Horizon Equity, said: “Ben has been part of the team for a number of years and this expanded role reflects his increasing influence over the portfolio.
“Gillian joins us in a newly created role and we are excited to work with her to further develop our communication around the considerable ESG work we undertake and to help our clients stay abreast of this highly idiosyncratic portfolio of companies from around the world. These additions to our already strong and committed team, will be a powerful step forward in meeting our clients’ needs as markets and opportunities evolve over time.”
