Raymond James has hired a former Rathbones regional head to lead its Chichester branch.
Greg Mahon (pictured) will manage bespoke services and investment strategies for private clients, family trusts and pensions from Chichester, Sussex and around the UK.
Mahon previously spent 17 years at Rathbones, the last 10 as regional head of the firm’s Chichester office. Before that he worked at Premier Asset Management and prior to that, at Murray Johnstone. He started his career with Smith New Court/Merrill Lynch in 1987.
Raymond James head of business development Anthony Scott said: “Greg’s record and success at building a private client business is well known and being supported by a highly skilled and professional team makes for a very exciting prospect for clients, the business community in Chichester, and Raymond James.
“We look forward to seeing Greg and his team help their clients navigate the investment space.”
Mahon said: “Raymond James’ unique model is unlike any of their competitors and they are at the forefront of change in the investment market. I am looking forward to exploring the opportunities that await me working with this vibrant and pioneering organisation.”
