Briggs will report to Sanjiv Tumkur, head of equity research, while Chilvers will report to Bryn Jones, head of fixed income, where he will support the fixed income research coverage for the group. Both will be based in London.
Briggs joins from Fidelity International, where he was an analyst covering Europe. He has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services including roles at Meditor Capital Management and Henderson Investors, as well as a secondment to the Australian equity team at AMP Asset Management.
Chilvers, meanwhile, was a client associate at Brown Shipley, supporting clients’ fixed income allocation. He also helped to develop the company’s corporate social responsibility policy.
