Rathbones has announced the addition of Marie Lawrence to its southeast of England distribution team.
Lawrence (pictured), now a discretionary fund management specialist, is responsible for client relationships in the area, which includes Winchester and Chichester.
She joined the firm from wealth manager Charles Stanley back in June, where she covered the Thames Valley and the West Midlands as an intermediary sales manager.
Before her three-and-a-half-year stint at Charles Stanley, Lawrence spent eight years as an account manager at Prudential.
Her appointment follows Rathbones’ hiring of another DFM specialist, Matt Honour, in the spring.
Lawrence will report to head of DFM specialists Philip Turner, who said: “Our DFM business continues to show significant growth and we are committed to fully resourcing our ability to offer comprehensive and relevant solutions to our clients. Marie brings a wealth of experience in working with advisers and in growing her network. We very much look forward to working with her.”
