The UK Financial Institutions and Strategic Accounts team will work alongside the firm’s UK discretionary and UK advisory sales teams, which are managed by Phil Middleton and Steve Jackson respectively.
Rainbow is currently head of marketing and will continue in this capacity until September. He will report to Robin Stoakley, managing director of UK Intermediary at Schroders, and will be supported by Ross Mackinnon, Jon Simmons and Paul Hazeldine.
The move comes following the firm’s acquisition of Cazenove Capital and according to a statement is a reflection of the increased following in the space.
