Quilter eyes expansion with two new hires

Quilter has made two new hires to its investment team as part of its on-going expansion post-merger with Cheviot Asset Management.

Alex Ford and Jonathan Raymond joined the London-based team at the start of June.

Ford joined the firm following a brief stint at Hartmann Capital, where he was an investment manager. Prior to this he spent five years at Barclays Wealth as a private banker, dealing mainly with UK-based investment bankers, hedge fund managers and private equity partners.

Raymond spent five years as an investment manager at Vestra Wealth LLP before which he worked at UBS.

Earlier in the year Charles Hepworth, head of the firm’s model portfolio service, left to take to the helm of GAM’s DFM model portfolio business.
