This takes the total of new senior recruits to six since the beginning of the year, with Stephen Vakil, Quilter’s managing director, saying he is looking to further build the investment team.
Di Griffin left Kleinwort Benson in February this year where she was head of portfolio management (funds), responsible for the collective portfolio management offering. She joined the firm in May 1986.
Dan Weale left Kleinwort Benson at the same time as Griffin. At the time he was a portfolio manager, having joined in May 2007 from Thesis Asset Management where he was an assistant portfolio manager.
They will both join Quilter as vice presidents looking after private clients, trusts and charities.
