Harwood joined the London-based team in November, alongside Suneet Kumar, James Gatehouse and Mats Arthursson, who all joined late last year. He moved over from Brooks Macdonald where he was an investment manager.

Harwood is responsible for private clients, trusts and institutional clients.

He said: “I’m incredibly excited to have joined Quilter Cheviot, a firm that is renowned for its discretionary investment management services.

“I look forward to working alongside an experienced team, managing existing client portfolios whilst also building new relationships with clients.”

Arthursson, investment director, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Oliver to Quilter Cheviot. He is a very talented investment manager with experience of investing in a variety of markets. I’m sure he will make a significant contribution to the team, helping us to grow further.”

Meanwhile, Webber and Holloway have joined the Salisbury office as investment managers.

Webber joined on 2 January from ABSA Bank in South Africa, where he was head of portfolio management for private clients, while Holloway began on 29 January from Liverpool Victoria, where he was a senior investment analyst.

Richard Firth, head of the Salisbury office, said he was delighted to welcome Vaughn and Scott to the team.

He added: “Both are experienced investment managers who will complement the established team and help us manage the expanding client base. Salisbury is growing in prominence and by increasing the size of our team in that office to 19, we believe we are demonstrating our commitment to the region.”
