The firm says the new office further leverages its ability to share the intellectual capital and expertise of parent Punter Southall Group, which now has eight Birmingham-based wealth management specialists.
Carpenter is already Birmingham-based and prior to working at Charles Stanley’s officer there was head of private banking at Kaupthing, Singer & Friedlander’s West Midlands office. In his 13 years in the industry, he was also a private banker at Coutts advising HNW clients.
“The opening of our first regional office gives us greater exposure in the West Midlands area and marks an important step in Psigma’s ambitious expansion plans, following 10 years of successive growth,” said Psigma IM chief executive John Howard-Smith.
“Our excellent and stable team, solid infrastructure and high quality investment performance provides a strong foundation for our strategic expansion plans and we remain confident in continuing to grow Psigma’s UK presence going forwards.”
