In the newly created role of investment director, Wishart will lead the firm’s expansion in Scotland and has started his new position today.
He has over 24 years of experience in private client investment management and joins from Rathbones, where he spent 12 years. Initially, he worked in their London office before transferring to Edinburgh in 2007.
Wishart began his career managing private client portfolios, personal pension plans, trusts and charities at James Capel in 1990, where he worked for a further 12 years.
