Oladimeji, who joined the firm in 2006, was previously head of investment strategies at the group. He will be responsible for divising investment strategy across all investment funds and portfolios, and will oversee the direction of macroeconomic and asset allocation research at the firm. He also acts as portfolio manager, managing multi-asset portfolios for institutional clients.
Thomas Miller Investment has funds under management of more than £2.6bn and manages tailored investment portfolios for insurance mutual, charities, pension schemes, governments and private clients.
Last year the group opened an onshore private client business to complement Thomas Miller Investment’s existing offshore operation in the Isle of Man.
The Edinburgh-based team is headed by Harry Morgan, with Andrew Herberts as deputy. John Bearman was appointed as the firm’s new CIO in May last year.
