Speaking on the sidelines of the PA Fund Awards, Old Mutual Global Investors’ head of research said, as the world learned last year, with political risk comes the risk of sharp changes to sentiment and the slate of elections in Europe this year, provides many opportunities for such swings.
“As a result, the focus within our investment process is on the dynamism of our portolios to ensure we can adapt correctly as and when those changes in sentiment take place,” he said.
