The PIMCO Global Investment Solutions Research Affiliates Equity Fundamental range will provide investors with access to an array of equity markets, including global developed, European, US large-cap and emerging markets.
Comprised of the PIMCO GIS RAE Fundamental Global Developed, Fundamental Europe, Fundamental US and Fundamental Emerging Markets funds, the suite will target opportunities based on individual stock characteristics.
Seeking to beat their respective indexes, the funds will disregard stock prices and instead focus on measures including sales, cash flow, book value and dividends, in what Sabrina Callin, PIMCO managing director and equity product manager, highlighted as a design to eliminate “market inefficiencies”.
“In a low return world, investors will be well served by approaches that provide meaningful return on top of what the market delivers, which can make a big difference over the long term,” she said.
“PIMCO’s Enhanced Equity strategies provide investors with a range of equity offerings that are designed to achieve this goal.”
Active from 30 June, the Dublin-domiciled range is available to investors based in the UK, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Sweden.
