Ball will search for new roles after six years with Nomura

Global head of distribution Peter Ball has left Nomura Asset Management after more than six years with the firm, he announced today (19 February) on his LinkedIn profile.

Ball joined Nomura in 2018 as head of EMEA distribution, and in 2021 also became head of the UK branch. He has been in his current role as global head of distribution since April 2023.

Before Nomura, Ball held positions at Aegon Asset Management, Kames Capital, JLT Employee Business and JP Morgan Asset Management, where he began his career in 1998.

“It was a privilege to run global distribution for [Nomura], as well as being on the board of their sister company New Forests in Australia,” Ball wrote on LinkedIn. “I am now on the lookout for the next opportunity.”
