Parmenion has appointed veteran team members Harry Garrett to head of investments and Peter Dalgliesh (pictured) to chief investment officer, effective immediately.
Dalgliesh takes the role after spending over 11 years with Parmenion, most recently as managing director. Garrett began at Parmenion in 2013 as an investment assistant, working his way to investment director in 2021.

Martin Jennings, CEO at Parmenion, said: “We want to strengthen our market position, and to do this we need more prominent figureheads at the helm of our investment business.
“Peter and Harry have extensive investment experience and having been with the company for many years are ideally placed to lead our standing amongst advisers and the wider investment community. I congratulate them on their new roles and look forward to them playing their part in the delivery of our strategic growth ambitions.”
Before Dalgliesh joined Parmenion in 2012, he held roles at F&C, Jupiter Asset Management, and Gartmore. His expertise lies in emerging markets and the Asia Pacific.
“I’m delighted to take on this role at an exciting and challenging time for our industry when advisers’ investment solutions for their clients are, more than ever under the spotlight,” Dalgliesh said.
“I look forward to continuing to build Parmenion’s investment proposition and serving the advice community.”
The Bristol-based company added 32 model portfolios to its platform this year from IBOSS, and five Brooks Macdonald ranges at the end of last year. Currently, Parmenion manages over £9bn in investments.
“I joined PIM in 2013 when assets were significantly below £1bn, and I have seen first-hand the impressive growth of the business to date,” Garrett said.
“I am a passionate believer in what we do and the value we provide to advisers and their clients. I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to enhance our proposition and ensure we continue to deliver great outcomes.”
