Paris Jordan has landed at Waverton Investment Management after a brief stint at a matchmaking service for connecting fund buyers with asset managers.
Jordan (pictured) quit Sanlam Investments last July to head up the newly launched investment consulting arm at Murano which was set up in 2011 by industry veteran Ole Rollag to connect investors and asset management firms.
But five months after joining the business in October she has exited the firm and landed a new gig at Waverton as an analyst in its multi-asset team.
At Waverton she will report to fund manager and head of third-party fund selection Luke Hyde-Smith.
Hyde-Smith said Jordan was joining at an “important stage” in the multi-asset team’s growth and touted her track record as “an experienced fund selector” and her “notable specialism in ethical and sustainable investing”.
During her six years at Sanlam, Jordan developed and managed the firm’s ethical and socially responsible investment portfolios. Before that she worked as an analyst at Fidelity.
Commenting on her appointment Jordan said: “Waverton’s multi-asset offering has delivered impressive performance since inception and has also weathered recent market stresses exceptionally well. The firm has an excellent reputation and I look forward to contributing to the ongoing success of a very talented team.”
Last October, Jordan teamed up with Carmignac business development manager Sophia Sednaoui to launch Virtuvest, an ethical investing network for professional investors to debate and learn about environmental, social and governance issues.
